I’m in a listing kind of mood of late, I don’t feel inclined to use some parts of my brain at the moment for various reasons so today I present to you 42 random books that I own. They really are random I just grabbed them from the shelves…some say something about me, some mostly say I buy books and then don’t finish them.

After my very wordy last post I thought I’d share some old rehersal photos I found a few days ago. I don’t do well with flash, I wasn’t drunk. Truly. Oddly I think I prefer me now to 19/20 year old me. Although I wouldn’t mind the waistline back.
I decided that this week I was going to do a video of my world. I sort of have, but with a few missing continents. If I actually filmed what I did this week mahoosive chunks of it would have involved; me staring at a tiny computer and trying to think, being distracted from thinking by listening to Radio Four podcasts, eating, sleeping, accumulating enough bits of newspaper to run my own newsagents*, eating Brie, swearing at my phone, and cat annoyance. I’ve had to use YouTube this time, and thus it might only let 25 views happen. If it does behave awkward, and you do want to see itlet me know; though bare in mind the title y’know there’s no nudity or anything salacious (unless badly stored books do it for you).
EDIT: I’ve put it on public but will switch it back off again towards the end of next week, I’m not a massive fan of youtube but until I work out why Cinocopa is making the sound go weird I’m stuck with this.

*There is no such thing as too much garlic in food.
*It does though, scent bodily fluids.
*There isn’t going to be a point when I feel like I have too many books.
*I will never be a tidy person.
*And sod the “tidy life means tidy mind” aphorism. My mind rocks thank you very much.
*Although the memory part, and the not walking into stationary objects part, could do with some overhauling.
*Talking to people who aren’t here is entirely fine.
*As is speaking out loud what you’re going to write before you write it.
*That the Popular and Bitchy Girls at school, were popular for pretty much one reason.
*And that it’s normal, if not very nice, for me to have looked up their Facebook accounts and laughed. A lot.
*That the Cool Girls are all a bit responsible and establishment now, except for one (and I’m basing that wholly on her job since I’ve not seen her since I was at school).
*That by are large the instructions on the back of food packets are to be ignored. Unless they say “poisonous if eaten cold”.
*That microwaves are annoying. (This is why mine went to the recycling)
*That no one has properly “cool” music taste, and if you should happen to meet someone with no records of dubious nature in their collection then they’re probably inhuman. Or lying. Or both.
*That laptop batteries, even on the most power savery setting, just aren’t long lasting enough for my thinking time.
*I am occasionally guilty of monologophobia, which I am holding my English teachers responsible for having taught us that you COULD NOT use the same word in subsequent sentences. It was uncreative, apparently. Though I don’t at least suffer from dopplerparagraphs like The Independent online edition rather annoyingly does.
