I’ve had a really enjoyable week, doing stuff that I don’t ordinarily get to do, and properly enjoyed myself. I learnt stuff too, but I did really enjoy myself.
I’ve not run off. My laptop is thoroughly buggered at the moment.

If you have been being annoyed by me for quite some time then you may know I am the very proud owner of a gramophone. It has only recently come to live with me though, it being exceptionally heavy and not something you want to be moving all that frequently.

On a whim, and mostly because it was only £3.99* in my local Smiths I bought the TV Cream Toys book today. It’s essentially a catalogue of toys mostly from the mid sixties to the early eighties. The front bit has a collection of quotes from Richard Herring, Charlie Brooker, Al Murray, Harry Hill and some bloke called Ally Ross(I only know he’s a he because I googled him). Mostly complaining about how they didn’t get (m)any of the toys featured in the book, and I find myself in a similar position.
As I write this I’m making coffee. Despite the timecode on the post it’s about five to seven at night. Coffee is an anytime drink for me. Whereas my mother won’t even have decaffinated after 4pm, lest it keep her awake.
